    Lead the Water Treatment business within the organization.  This important position owns the Water Treatment program and will be primarily responsible for evaluating opportunities, performing capability assessments, assembling programs to serve current and future needs of the maritime Water treatment program as well as maintain the efficacy and advancement of current programs in Water Treatment. 


    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead all aspects of the Water Treatment business within global organization
    • Understand market drivers (such as regulatory and business environments) to originate, improve and roll out programs in the Water treatment space
    • Evaluate and present the “win” potential for new programs in Water Treatment
    • Assemble Water Treatment programs, including presentations, collateral material and training programs for sales force
    • Manage ongoing portfolio of programs in Water Treatment to ensure programs match end user needs
    • Revise and update product mix within Water treatment as needed due to technical advancements
    • Collaborate with application specialists / Marketing Managers
    • Identify opportunities for improvements in Water Treatment portfolio
    • Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and key suppliers
    • Provide fundamental product and lifecycle management within the core groups and manage the full product lifecycle 
    • Heavy interaction with Sr. Sales Leaders and Supply Chain for new product or market development efforts
    • Develop and lead Sales and Product training sessions 
    • Expected to lead, support and maintain the DREW MARINE BRAND


    Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:  

    • Current core marketing and product leadership experience
    • B to B marketing experience in a technical consumables industry
    • Solid project management skills
    • Exceptional prioritization skills
    • Broad spectrum water treatment program management
    • Collaborative and resourceful – able to engage other subject mattter experts routinely to resolve problems and drive program
    • Strong end-user interaction background (preferably marine)
    • Maritime background highly preferred


    • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
    • MBA in Marketing highly preferred
    • Leadership experience in utility water applications highly preferred (boiler systems, ballast water systems, closed loop water treatment)

    Physical Working Environment:

    The position works in a climate controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time. Position requires travel approximately 25%.
